A LEAN plan for your Supply Chain

Lean Planner®, our flagship SAP® bolt-on solution, enables you to “pull” any product on any node of your supply chain, significantly increasing your asset utilization.

The goal of LEAN PLANNER® is to create a supply plan suited for demand driven LEAN supply chain. Demand forecast of finished products, planning parameters of materials and product structures are the key inputs to the solution. The output is a demand driven LEAN supply plan for all the materials on all the nodes of the supply chain.

Such supply plans are way more forgiving to forecast errors and immune to lead time inaccuracies. They require very few planning parameters to maintain. Replenishments are triggered by actual customer orders. This results in significantly optimized inventories and improved service levels.

The solution is developed as a bolt-on on SAP®/ECC/APO. Planning parameters, unique to demand driven LEAN planning, are maintained on the material/product master. Native transactions and planning runs execute the planning. Native transactions are used to evaluate the MRP lists and planning outputs.

This approach significantly reduces the change management effort to implement such a system. Planners use the same transactions to review the planning output. The current planning jobs also execute the lean planning.
